ABOUT ME
Hi there!
My name is Clara Kuk and I'm a PSI student at the University of Lethbridge.
I was born in South Korea and moved to Canada when I was three, so I've grown up in Alberta for most of my life. I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at Winston Churchill High School in Lethbridge, AB and the IB program has been impactful in cultivating myself to be a life-long learner.
After high school, I moved to Montréal to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Joint Honours International Development Studies & Sociology at McGill University. My time at Montréal was full of a variety of experiences from producing media content relating to human rights as a journalist, teaching elementary music and tutoring ELL students, to completing my undergraduate thesis on how women manage miscarriage experiences through online platforms.
My most recent impactful experience was going on a solo backpacking trip around Europe after graduation.
My passions include singing and playing the piano, reading, writing, and anything to do with visual design like graphic design, photography, and illustration.
I am grateful for the many opportunities that have lead me to connect meaning and fulfillment with the teaching profession and I'd love to share my passion for learning as a future teacher!
